Nuggets, Avalanche Games on 9NEWS and My20

Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche fans will have new options to watch their teams this season, thanks to a partnership between Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) and Tegna. The deal will broadcast 20 Nuggets and 20 Avalanche games on Tegna's local over-the-air stations, 9NEWS and My20, with 10 games simulcast on 9NEWS. Additionally, KSE is launching a direct-to-consumer streaming service, Altitude+, which will offer all games not aired on national networks for $19.95 per month. This move addresses the longstanding blackout issues for Comcast and Dish subscribers and aligns with a broader trend of sports teams adopting hybrid broadcast and streaming models to reach more fans. The new streaming service and broadcast deal will significantly expand access to games for the nearly 3.5 million people in the Denver metro area.
