Manhunt for Chesterfield Escapees Continues

In Rocky Mount, North Carolina, four teenagers, including three juveniles and an 18-year-old, were captured after escaping from the Edgecombe Youth Development Center during recreation time. The last escapee, Eric M., was found near a gas station with authorities deploying drones and over 15 officers involved in the search. Meanwhile, in South Carolina, a manhunt is ongoing for three of the four inmates who escaped from the Chesterfield County Detention Center, with Emanuel Robson Planco having been apprehended in Columbia after a crime spree involving vehicle break-ins and theft. The Chesterfield facility faced staffing issues, contributing to the escape, and law enforcement is using surveillance footage for investigation. Efforts are underway with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to locate the remaining fugitives.
