A double homicide investigation is underway in Homestead, PA, after a man and woman were found shot dead in a residence on West 15th Avenue. Police responded to reports of gunfire around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday and, receiving no response from inside the home, called in a SWAT team. The victims, identified as Antoinette Porterfield, 45, and John West, 54, were discovered deceased by the SWAT team. Authorities believe the victims were targeted and assure there is no ongoing threat to the public. The police are seeking information from the public to aid in the investigation.
