HGTV Orders 100 Episodes New Shows After Cancellation Backlash

HGTV faced significant fan backlash after canceling seven popular shows in summer 2025, including Battle on the Beach, Farmhouse Fixer, and Bargain Block. In response, the network announced a robust slate of new and returning series comprising over 100 episodes set to air in late 2025 and 2026. Returning favorites include The Flip Off, Love It or List It, Renovation Aloha, and Home Town starring Ben and Erin Napier, who will also headline a spinoff, Home Town: Inn This Together, focusing on renovating a historic building in Laurel, Mississippi. New programming highlights include Cheap A$$ Beach Houses, a humorous look at affordable beach properties, Tropic Like It’s Hot showcasing tropical luxury living, and Sin City Rehab featuring Alison Victoria’s Las Vegas renovations. HGTV also plans to air a holiday-themed series titled Hoarding for the Holidays and will return with its White House Christmas special.
