Fifth teenager charged in Thomas Taylor murder, Bedford

A fifth teenager has been charged with murder in the case of Thomas Taylor, a 17-year-old who was fatally stabbed near a bus station in Bedford on January 8. The latest arrest involved a 17-year-old boy, who was charged on January 15 and is currently remanded in custody. Four other teenagers, aged between 16 and 18, have also been charged and are set to appear at Luton Crown Court, with a provisional trial date set for June 30. A post-mortem examination revealed that the preliminary cause of death was stab wounds. Additionally, two other teenagers previously arrested will face no further action in connection to the incident. The police are continuing to investigate and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
