The festival will showcase some of her most iconic films, including 'Asoka,' 'Chameli,' 'Jab We Met,' 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,' and 'Omkara.' This event marks the first film festival dedicated to an Indian female actor, following similar honors for Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. Kareena expressed her gratitude towards the industry and her excitement for the festival on social media, where she also shared her look in a stunning Banarasi silk saree for the celebration night. Her latest film, 'The Buckingham Murders,' directed by Hansal Mehta, has been well-received despite a slow start at the box office. She will next appear in the cop action film 'Singham Again,' alongside Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh, set for release in November.
