Six Indicted in Lynn Drive-By Shooting

Six individuals, including a 15-year-old, have been indicted on two counts of murder and multiple assault charges following a drive-by shooting in Lynn, Massachusetts on September 2, 2023. The suspects, Justin Alba, 25, of Peabody, and Lynn residents Darwin Batista, 20, Yefferson Vallecillo Cambar, 22, Carlos Ramirez Corniel, 16, Leonardo Espinoza, 15, and Abel Severino Reyes, 21, face charges for killing Jandriel Heredia, 21, of Revere, and Abraham Diaz, 25, of Lynn, and injuring five others. Corniel and Espinoza are being charged as adults due to the severity of the crime. Lynn Police Chief Chris Reddy emphasized the significance of these indictments in the pursuit of justice. The suspects were formally indicted in September 2024, and their cases will proceed to the Superior Court system.
