White Sox Draft Fauske and Hodge in 2025
The Chicago White Sox selected outfielder Jaden Fauske with the 44th overall pick and catcher Landon Hodge with the 106th overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. Fauske, from Nazareth Academy and an LSU commit, was the Gatorade Illinois Player of the Year and is expected to focus on offense in the outfield. Hodge, a left-handed hitter from Crespi and also committed to LSU, is recognized for his line-drive ability and power potential as a future platoon catcher. Other notable draftees included Drew Faurot (Florida State, by the Marlins at 108), Riley Kelly (Rockies), Colin Yeaman (Orioles), and Josiah Hartshorn (Cubs). The draft highlighted strong talent from both high school and college ranks. The White Sox's picks reflect their ongoing strategy of acquiring versatile, high-upside players.
