Woman Pleads Guilty in Fatal DUI Crash

Jamie Lee Komoroski, 26, pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including felony DUI and reckless homicide, in connection with a fatal drunken driving accident that killed bride Samantha Miller and injured her husband, Aric Hutchinson, on April 28, 2023, in Folly Beach, South Carolina. Komoroski was driving at 65 mph in a 25 mph zone with a blood-alcohol content of 0.261, significantly over the legal limit. Miller died at the scene, still in her wedding dress, while Hutchinson suffered severe injuries, including a brain injury.
