Woman, 65, Killed in Christmas Eve Crash

Ruth Marina Campos Silva Myers, a 65-year-old woman, tragically died in a car crash in Buckhurst Hill on Christmas Eve shortly after 7.30am. Her family described her as a 'vibrant, wonderful and elegant person' who was deeply cherished, leaving behind a loving husband and other family members. A 20-year-old man and two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested in connection with her death and are currently on bail. Essex Police are appealing for information regarding the incident, particularly seeking footage of a grey Jaguar XJ around the time of the collision. Detective Sergeant Sam Nason expressed condolences to Ruth's family and emphasized the importance of public assistance in the investigation.
