Kirsty Sansum, a 30-year-old woman involved in a cocaine smuggling operation in Gloucestershire, has become an unexpected online sensation due to her 'glamorous' mugshot. Sansum, along with John Rogers, Kingsley Williams, and Aaron Russell, was arrested for attempting to smuggle three kilograms of cocaine valued between £240,000 and £300,000. Sansum's mugshot went viral, overshadowing the crime's severity with social media users commenting on her appearance. Despite her involvement, Sansum received a two-year suspended sentence with drug rehabilitation and community service, while her accomplices received prison sentences of up to six years and nine months. Gloucestershire Constabulary highlighted the significant impact of the drug conspiracy on the community, underscoring the efforts to prevent such crimes. Detective Inspector Matt Phillips emphasized the potential harm the drugs could have caused had they reached the streets.
