Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, was shot and killed in a targeted attack outside a Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan on December 4. The shooting occurred shortly before the company's annual investor conference, which was subsequently canceled. The New York Police Department described the incident as premeditated, revealing that the masked gunman fled the scene on foot and later on an e-bike. Authorities released images of the suspect, who was seen wearing a cream-colored jacket and a black mask, and are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
