Yellowstone Spinoffs Y: Marshals, Dutton Ranch Announced

The Yellowstone franchise is expanding with multiple spinoffs, including Y: Marshals, which will star Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton. The new series, set to debut in spring 2026 on CBS, follows Kayce leaving the Yellowstone Ranch to join an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, blending his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring justice to Montana while balancing family and professional duties. Executive produced by Taylor Sheridan and others, this spinoff marks a shift in setting and tone from the original series. Alongside Y: Marshals, other Yellowstone-adjacent projects are in development, such as Dutton Ranch, focusing on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, slated to premiere on Paramount+ this fall. The Yellowstone universe continues to grow with prequels 1883 and 1923 completed and 1944 in the works, further expanding the saga's timeline and character exploration. Notably, Luke Grimes has also been cast in the film Eddington, showcasing his rising profile beyond the Yellowstone franchise.
