Two Fatal Crashes in Los Angeles Area

A tragic wrong-way crash on the 60 Freeway in Pomona resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including a 1-year-old child, after the collision occurred late Saturday night. The driver, Rick Rodriguez, who was suspected of being under the influence, collided head-on with a Honda Civic, instantly killing two women and eventually succumbing to his injuries the following day. The child passed away days later from injuries sustained in the crash. This incident led to a temporary closure of several lanes for investigation. In a separate incident, a multi-vehicle crash on the 405 Freeway near Brentwood resulted in one fatality after a victim was ejected from a vehicle during the early hours of Saturday.
