Jordan North Rescued from River Thames
Jordan North, a 34-year-old radio presenter and former contestant on 'I'm A Celebrity', was rescued from the River Thames after jumping in to save a drowning Labrador. While on a run near Hammersmith Bridge, he entered the water but quickly began to panic and needed assistance. Members of the public alerted the RNLI, who were able to reach him and the dog within three minutes. North expressed his gratitude during his Capital Breakfast show, stating that the RNLI were the real heroes for their timely rescue. Thames Commander Gavin Simmons emphasized the importance of calling for help instead of entering the water, while also noting their commitment to assist all in need. Fortunately, both North and the dog were safely brought back to dry land without serious harm.
