Russia Launches Massive Missile and Drone Attacks Killing Five in Multiple Ukrainian Regions

Russia launched a massive coordinated air attack on Ukraine using over 50 missiles and approximately 500 drones targeting multiple regions including Lviv near the Polish border, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Odesa, and others. The strikes hit critical military-industrial facilities and energy infrastructure, causing significant damage and power outages, especially in Lviv and Zaporizhzhia. At least five people were killed, including a family of four in the Lviv region, and around ten others were wounded. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for stronger and faster implementation of air defense agreements, emphasizing the need for increased protection to counteract this aerial terror. He also suggested that a ceasefire in the sky is possible and urged Western countries, particularly America and Europe, to exert pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the attacks. Rescue and recovery operations are ongoing to restore normal life in the affected areas.
