Checo Perez to Stay with Red Bull in Show Role

Sergio Perez will not continue racing for Red Bull but will remain involved in the team through show runs, as confirmed by Red Bull boss Christian Horner. Perez, who had a challenging season finishing eighth, is being replaced by Liam Lawson for the 2025 season. Despite his exit from the main team, Perez's contributions, including his role in the 2021 Drivers’ Championship, are recognized. Liam Lawson's promotion to the senior team follows a decision made after Perez's departure, with Lawson having shown promise despite limited F1 experience. Isack Hadjar, who finished second in the F2 championship, will replace Lawson in the Racing Bulls team, partnering with Yuki Tsunoda. This reshuffle marks Hadjar's move up from the Red Bull junior program, continuing the team's tradition of promoting from within.
