Cooper Flagg Joins 2024 USA Basketball Select Team

Cooper Flagg, a 17-year-old basketball phenom and incoming Duke freshman, has been named to the USA Basketball men's select team, which will practice against the U.S. Olympic team in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Flagg, who has extensive USA Basketball experience and was the youngest player to win USA Basketball’s male athlete of the year in 2022, is expected to be a top pick in the 2025 NBA draft. He will join other notable players such as Payton Pritchard, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Jalen Duren, and Jalen Suggs on the select team. The team, coached by Orlando Magic's Jamahl Mosley, aims to help the national team while also developing future talents for USA Basketball.
