Maryland North Carolina Police Arrest Suspects in Separate Salisbury Fatal Shootings

In Maryland, multiple fatal shootings have recently prompted ongoing investigations and arrests. On July 15, 24-year-old Dajaud Rae’heim Townsend was fatally shot on Smith Street in Salisbury; Jonathan Leross Jobe, 18, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses including first- and second-degree murder. The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit, along with local agencies, are leading the investigation into this incident. Earlier, a man was found dead from gunshot wounds on Old Chapel Road in Bowie, with authorities continuing their investigation. Additionally, on June 28, 45-year-old Cleveland Sinclair Davis died after a shooting on East Liberty Street in Salisbury, leading to the arrest of 47-year-old Jamel Lee Staton on murder charges. Police continue to seek public assistance in all cases to gather more information.
