The first two Oasis concerts at Heaton Park attracted over 100,000 attendees and resulted in 15 arrests related to fraud, assault, and attempts to enter the venue without tickets. Several fans tried to breach security using fake accreditation and even ladders to scale fences, but police confirmed no unauthorized entry to the concert area was successful. Greater Manchester Police implemented Section 34 and Section 47 Dispersal Orders to mitigate anti-social behavior and maintain public safety. Assistant Chief Constable Matt Boyle praised the peaceful enjoyment of the events by the majority and emphasized ongoing security measures, including a visible police presence and cooperation with event organizers for the remaining concerts. Additional security concerns included the seizure of five drones violating restricted airspace over the venue. Police continue to warn against unauthorized access and monitor the situation closely to ensure safety for upcoming shows.
