Nissan Launches Limited-Edition Z Nismo Precision Sushi Knife

Nissan has launched the Z Nismo Precision Sushi Knife, a limited-edition culinary tool crafted in collaboration with renowned knifemaker Satoshi Kiryu and sushi chef Hiroyuki Terada. This unique knife, inspired by Nissan's iconic Fairlady Z sports car, features an 8.27-inch double-beveled kiritsuke-style blade designed for optimal cutting of delicate ingredients like fish. Limited to just 240 units, each knife is handmade in Japan and priced at $300.23, with design elements that reflect Nissan's performance heritage, such as a buffalo horn handle and a kuro zome finish. The project, taking 18 months to develop, emphasizes Nissan's commitment to craftsmanship and brand engagement amid its ongoing financial struggles. Both Kiryu and Terada, longtime Z enthusiasts, infused their expertise and passion into this project, showcasing a blend of automotive culture and culinary artistry.
