FedEx Launches Non-Stop Singapore-Anchorage Cargo Route

FedEx has launched a new direct, non-stop cargo flight between Singapore and Anchorage, Alaska, marking the only such connection from Southeast Asia to the continental US. Operating six times weekly with Boeing 777 freighters, this route improves supply chain efficiency and shortens transit times by up to a day for key industries such as aerospace, healthcare, industrial, high-tech, and semiconductors. The service consolidates shipments from Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, with goods picked up on Saturday now arriving in the US by Monday. Initially, there is one weekly return flight from Anchorage to Singapore, with plans to increase to five flights per week during the summer. This development strengthens Singapore's and Malaysia's roles as global trade and manufacturing hubs, providing businesses in the region with faster, more reliable access to US markets.
