BBC Radio 2 has announced ‘Suspicious Minds’ as the UK's favourite Elvis Presley song, following a listener poll that garnered over 100,000 votes. This initiative, titled 'Your Ultimate Elvis Song,' was launched to celebrate what would have been Elvis's 90th birthday on January 8, 2025. The top five songs also included 'In The Ghetto,' 'If I Can Dream,' 'Always On My Mind,' and 'Can't Help Falling In Love.' Hosted by Vernon Kay, the show will reveal the top 40 chart and feature messages from Priscilla Presley, Elvis's ex-wife. Vernon expressed his excitement over the results and the honor of having Priscilla introduce the number one track. The show will air on New Year’s Day, offering fans a deep dive into Elvis’s musical legacy.
