Apple Reveals Ultra-Thin iPhone 17 Air for 2025

The iPhone 17 series, launching in September 2025, will feature a major redesign, highlighted by the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air measuring 5.5-5.65mm thick and replacing the Plus variant. The Air will have a 6.6-inch ProMotion display, a single rear camera, a titanium and aluminum chassis for durability, and will be eSIM-only globally. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will introduce a horizontal camera bar, triple camera setups, and upgraded A19/A19 Pro chips with increased RAM. All models in the lineup are expected to feature 120Hz LTPO OLED screens, Always-On Display, and improved camera hardware, even on non-Pro variants. Apple is optimizing internal components and software to address battery and durability concerns arising from the thinness of the Air. Pricing for the new series may start higher than previous generations, and an entry-level iPhone 17e is anticipated for release in 2026.
