The maneuver, a variant of the Weiler-kip, involves a clear hip circle forward with 1.5 turns to handstand and has been rated with a difficulty score of E (0.5). Biles has successfully executed the skill in training, and if performed without major faults during competition, it will earn her a sixth named skill, joining her five existing ones across different events. Notably, Biles also showcased her signature Yurchenko double pike vault during training, reinforcing her status as the world's top female gymnast. The FIG's approval is pending, and she will be competing in all artistic gymnastics events at the Olympics, with qualifiers set for July 28. Biles' pursuit is part of a broader trend, with other gymnasts like Rebeca Andrade also submitting new skills for recognition at the Games.
