FSB Accuses Ukrainian Spies of RAND Disguise

Russia's FSB security service has accused Ukrainian spy agencies of attempting to recruit Russian citizens by impersonating employees of the U.S. think tank RAND Corporation. Allegedly, these operatives sought to gather sensitive military information related to Russia's operations in Ukraine. The FSB reported that Ukrainians posed as representatives of RAND's Eastern Europe branch, offering money in various forms for classified materials. RAND Corporation, which has been labeled an 'undesirable organization' in Russia, has denied any involvement in these activities. The announcement has heightened tensions between Russia and Ukraine amid ongoing conflict. As of now, neither RAND nor Ukrainian officials have provided comments on these allegations.
