Busta Rhymes Faces $6M Federal Assault, Wage Theft Lawsuit

Former assistant Dashiel Gables has filed a federal lawsuit against rapper Busta Rhymes, alleging physical assault, wage theft, and workplace abuse, including being punched in the face in January 2025 and subjected to slurs and unpaid overtime. Gables claims the assault occurred after a dispute over phone use and that Rhymes retaliated by cutting off his professional opportunities.
