May Pang's Lennon Photos Exhibit Opens in Florida

A new exhibition titled 'The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang' is set to showcase intimate, never-before-seen photographs of John Lennon taken by May Pang, his partner during his 'Lost Weekend' period from 1973 to 1975. This period was highly creative for Lennon, resulting in successful albums like 'Mind Games' and 'Walls and Bridges'. The exhibition will be held at Gallery 725 in Jacksonville, Florida from January 17 to 19, with free admission. Concurrently, Pang's documentary 'The Lost Weekend: A Love Story' is streaming on various platforms, aiming to clarify misconceptions about her relationship with Lennon. Pang, who was encouraged by Yoko Ono to become Lennon's girlfriend, will attend the exhibition to share stories and insights behind the photos. The exhibit also includes personal moments, such as Lennon's 1974 visit to Disney World, where he signed the contract dissolving The Beatles.
