Jessie Clifford Brown, a 42-year-old Texan, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for the murder of John Allen Franco, who threatened to leak nude photographs of Brown's stepdaughter. Franco, 24, was found dead in his vehicle on May 20, 2015, with a gunshot wound to the head after an altercation involving Brown and two other men. Witnesses reported that Brown exited his vehicle and shot Franco through the driver's side window, motivated by Franco's threats to expose the images. After a lengthy investigation, Brown was arrested in October 2017 and subsequently convicted of murder on November 1, 2024.
