Catherine Tyldesley Returning as Eva; Will Run Rovers Return

Catherine Tyldesley is returning to Coronation Street as Eva Price and has been offered the landlady role at the Rovers Return by producer Kate Brooks. Eva arrives in Weatherfield married to Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker), who reveals he has bought the pub, and they move in with his two sons and his interfering mother Maggie (Pauline McLynn). A teaser shows the family settling in with an opening party and hints of “suitcases full of secrets,” including that Ollie previously dated Dee Dee without telling her about the move, and Eva is reunited with sisters Leanne and Toyah. Tyldesley left the show in 2018 to live in France and focus on family and other acting work and described the landlady role as a dream.
