PFA Announces Six Finalists for Young Player Award

The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has named six finalists for the 2025 Young Player of the Year award, spotlighting top young talent from English and European football. The nominees are Chelsea striker Liam Delap, who transferred from Ipswich after scoring 12 goals last season, Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez (who is reportedly attracting Liverpool's interest), former Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen (who joined Real Madrid in a £50m move), and Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers, who contributed 14 goals and 15 assists. Lewis-Skelly had a breakthrough season and scored on his England debut. The winner will be announced at the PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester on August 19. These young players have made significant impacts at their clubs and some have already debuted internationally.
