Joe Brand Named Penguins Radio Announcer

The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced Joe Brand as their new radio play-by-play announcer, replacing Steve Mears who moved to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Brand, who previously worked with the Chicago Blackhawks, will cover all regular-season and playoff games, joined primarily by color analyst Phil Bourque. Paul Steigerwald will return as the pre- and post-game host. Brand brings extensive experience, having called games for various sports at both professional and collegiate levels.
