Hot 'n Now, a beloved Michigan-based fast food chain known for its Olive Burger and Cheesy Taters, is set to open a new location near Gun Lake Casino Resort in Wayland Township on October 13, 2025. This opening marks the brand's first new site since being acquired by Gun Lake Investments, owned by the Gun Lake Tribe, and features a modular building manufactured by B Cubed Manufacturing in Alpena. The Wayland location will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, extending hours until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The brand, which once had over 100 stores across 15 states but dwindled to just one in Sturgis, is experiencing a nostalgic revival with plans for another location in Alpena expected to open in 2026.
