Body of Missing Cardiff Woman Paria Veisi Found, Man Charged with Murder

The body of Paria Veisi, a 37-year-old woman who was reported missing after leaving her workplace in the Canton area of Cardiff, has been discovered at a property in Penylan, Cardiff. Following the discovery, a 41-year-old man from Penylan has been charged with her murder, preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Additionally, a 48-year-old woman from London has been charged with preventing a lawful and decent burial and conspiring to pervert the course of justice. Both suspects have appeared in court and remain in custody pending further hearings. Police described Veisi’s disappearance as out of character, which led to an extensive search and public appeals for information. Family liaison officers are supporting Veisi’s family, and police investigations in the Penylan area are ongoing.
