In God's Lake Narrows, Manitoba, a 21-month-old boy was hit by a pickup truck driven by a 45-year-old resident and died at a local Nursing Station. In Lansing, Michigan, a 2-year-old girl left her home unsupervised and was fatally struck by a Volkswagen Jetta on Chicago Street; drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash, and an autopsy will be performed. In Adelaide, an 18-month-old girl was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Rentoul Avenue and later died. Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward to assist in ongoing investigations into these tragic accidents.
