Brad Pitt Boosts Security at $5.5M Los Angeles Home After Break-In

Brad Pitt has significantly increased security at his nearly $6 million Los Angeles home in Los Feliz following a break-in while he was abroad in Tokyo. Three intruders accessed the property by climbing a fence and entering through the front windows, remaining inside for about ten minutes before fleeing with an unknown amount of personal belongings. Prior to the break-in, neighborhood security was present but left shortly before the incident, exposing vulnerabilities due to the lack of a substantial fence or hedge around the home. In response, Pitt has hired 24/7 personal security guards to protect the property, which he purchased in April 2023 after downsizing from his previous $33 million estate. The residence, known as "The Steel House," is a 2,000-square-foot mid-century modern home shared with his partner, Ines de Ramon. Police investigations are ongoing, with no arrests made so far, and neighbors noted the security lapse just days before the burglary.
