Bolingbrook Man Charged With Hidden Cameras At Naperville Gym

Erick Palacios, a 47-year-old man from Bolingbrook, has been charged with 11 felony counts of unauthorized video recording and live video transmission after hidden cameras were discovered in the bathrooms of a Naperville gym, Title Boxing Club. The cameras were found in March 2025 by an employee, and police investigations revealed that Palacios, who was a gym member, had installed the devices and recorded multiple victims between January and March 2025. Authorities executed a search warrant at Palacios' home, seizing electronic devices containing videos and photographs of the victims. Palacios turned himself in on August 24 and was held at the Will County Jail pending court proceedings. The Naperville Police Department has emphasized that these are accusations, and Palacios is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. The charges reflect one count for each identified victim, highlighting the seriousness of the case.
