Ireland Women Complete T20 Series Sweep Over Bangladesh

Ireland Women achieved a historic clean sweep against Bangladesh in the T20 series, winning all three matches after losing the ODI series 3-0. In the final T20I, Ireland secured a thrilling victory off the penultimate ball, thanks to Laura Delany's three consecutive boundaries in the last over, clinching the win by four wickets. Orla Prendergast was instrumental with her career-best bowling figures of 4-22, which helped restrict Bangladesh to 123 runs. Throughout the series, Prendergast excelled with a total of 10 wickets, earning her the Player of the Series award. Ireland's skipper Gaby Lewis and Leah Paul also contributed significantly with the bat across the matches. The team is set to continue their campaign with a tour to India in January 2024.
