Big Ten Releases 2024-25 Basketball Schedules

The Big Ten Conference has released the 2024-25 schedules for its men's and women's basketball teams, featuring the first matchups against new conference members USC, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon. The Minnesota Gophers men's team will open their Big Ten play against Michigan State on December 4 and will face newcomers throughout the season, including home games against Oregon and Washington and away games at USC and UCLA. The Iowa men's team will start their season on November 4 against Texas A&M Commerce and play their first Big Ten game against Northwestern on December 3, while avoiding matchups with USC and UCLA. Meanwhile, the Iowa women's team, led by new head coach Jan Jensen, will kick off their season with an exhibition against Missouri Western on October 30 and play against rivals like Drake and Iowa State before diving into their Big Ten schedule. Illinois men's team will also have a packed schedule, including home games against UCLA and USC and road games at Oregon and Washington.
