MVA Accuses BJP of Voter List Manipulation

MVA leaders have claimed that between 2,500 and 10,000 names have been improperly deleted from electoral rolls in constituencies where MVA candidates performed well in the Lok Sabha elections. They argue that this deliberate action, primarily targeting Scheduled Caste and Muslim voters, aims to silence dissent and secure electoral advantage for the ruling coalition. Specific instances of missing names, such as 6,000 from Nashik Central, have been highlighted, prompting the MVA to demand transparency and a thorough investigation by the Election Commission of India. The MVA has called for a white paper on these alleged irregularities and criticized the misuse of Form 7, which facilitates the removal of voter names. The coalition's leaders have emphasized that these actions undermine the electoral process and express concerns about the integrity of the upcoming elections.
