Priyanka Bishnoi, a 33-year-old Rajasthan Administrative Service officer, died after undergoing surgery at Vasundhara Hospital in Jodhpur, leading her family to allege medical negligence. Following the surgery on September 5, her health deteriorated, prompting her transfer to CIMS Hospital in Ahmedabad, where she passed away on September 18. The family accuses the hospital of carelessness, claiming she received excessive anesthesia, which contributed to her decline. Outrage erupted among the Bishnoi community and the public, leading the district administration to form a five-member committee to investigate the allegations. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed condolences and ordered an inquiry into the incident. The hospital has denied the allegations, asserting that no complications arose during treatment.
