Multiple Arrests Follow Assault Incidents Across U.S.

A series of assaults across several states led to multiple arrests in recent days. In Goodyear, Arizona, a man was taken into custody after reportedly assaulting a police sergeant during a traffic stop, resulting in aggravated assault and traffic charges. In Greensboro, North Carolina, police arrested Trae H. Crandell following a physical altercation with an officer—during which a K-9 bit the officer—and Crandell faced multiple warrants including assault with a deadly weapon and firearm possession by a felon. In Florence, South Carolina, Jahlil Dorsey was arrested for kidnapping and assaulting his ex-girlfriend in a Walmart parking lot after allegedly pulling her back into his car as she tried to escape. In Morgantown, Kentucky, Josh Annis was arrested after assaulting a man at Dollar General, resisting arrest, and threatening officers; he admitted to consuming methamphetamine prior to the incident.
