Marvel Addresses T'Challa Recast Speculation
Speculation about casting Denzel Washington and recasting T'Challa for 'Black Panther 3' has been addressed by Marvel Studios producer Nate Moore. Despite Washington's past comments about a role being written for him, Moore clarifies that no creative discussions have occurred yet, as Ryan Coogler is finishing another project. Additionally, rumors about replacing Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa have been refuted by Moore, stating that Marvel has no current plans to recast the role. However, he doesn't completely rule out future possibilities, as development on the film has not begun. The sequel will continue with Letitia Wright's Shuri as Black Panther following Boseman's death and the storyline established in 'Wakanda Forever'. Moore also hints that events in 'Captain America: Brave New World' might impact Wakanda, especially with the introduction of the element Adamantium.
