Indian-American Family Faces Racial Abuse on Shuttle

Pervez Taufiq, a wedding photographer, and his Indian-American family were subjected to a barrage of racist insults from a fellow passenger on a United Airlines shuttle bus after arriving in Los Angeles from Cancun on November 24. Despite the abuse, Taufiq remained calm and confronted the woman, asserting his American identity. United Airlines staff eventually removed the woman from the bus, and Taufiq expressed gratitude for the support of other passengers.
