Rodrigo Prieto Receives Distinguished Filmmaker Award

Rodrigo Prieto, renowned cinematographer known for his work on films like 'Killers of the Flower Moon' and 'The Irishman', will receive the Distinguished Filmmaker Award at the International Cinematographers Guild's Emerging Cinematographer Awards (ECA). He has been nominated for four Academy Awards and is set to make his feature directorial debut with an adaptation of Juan Rulfo's novel 'Pedro Paramo'. M. David Mullen will be honored with the ASC Mentor Award, recognized for his contributions to both cinematography and education, including winning multiple Emmys. The ECA will celebrate both Prieto and Mullen at an awards event on August 27, with Prieto's award presented during a showcase on September 29.
