Thai AirAsia X Launches Delhi-Bangkok Flights

Thai AirAsia X is set to launch direct flights from Delhi to Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok starting December 15, 2024, with promotional fares beginning at 7,990 INR. This new service aims to enhance connectivity between India and Thailand, which has seen a significant influx of Indian tourists in 2024. Initially, flights will operate twice a week, increasing to four times a week from January 15, 2025. Passengers can also utilize the Fly Thru service to connect to various domestic destinations in Thailand and beyond, including options to travel to cities like Chiang Mai and Phuket. The airline's CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, expressed confidence that the route will foster economic ties and tourism between the two nations. This initiative reflects AirAsia's broader strategy to establish Bangkok as a low-cost hub for international travel.
