Nilüfer Yanya Releases Dancing Shoes EP, Announces Fall Tours

Nilüfer Yanya will release her new EP, Dancing Shoes, on July 2 via Ninja Tune, following her acclaimed 2024 album, My Method Actor. The EP, created with longtime collaborator Wilma Archer after her extensive tour, includes the previously released single "Cold Heart" and the new single "Where to Look," which Yanya describes as one of her favorite melodic works that came together after revisiting it post-tour. The music features Yanya's signature blend of textured guitars layered beneath her distinctive voice, exploring hazy and atmospheric sounds. Dancing Shoes consists of four tracks: "Either Way," "Where to Look," "Treason," and "Cold Heart." Yanya will support the EP with a fall tour alongside Alex G and will also open for Lorde on select UK and European dates. The new release and accompanying performances continue to build on the critical praise Yanya has garnered for her emotionally resonant songwriting and innovative sound.
