Three Charged in Boise Murder and Shooting
Three suspects, including 19-year-old Daniel Alaniz Pineda and two minors, have been charged with first-degree murder following a fatal shooting in Boise, Idaho. The incident occurred on January 19, when a dispute over property led to a confrontation and shooting on North Cole Road. The male victim, who had life-threatening injuries, died in the hospital, while a female victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. After the shooting, police located and arrested the suspects in Meridian, with Pineda facing additional charges of aggravated battery and robbery. The two minors, 17-year-old Jordan Castillo and 15-year-old Miguel Angel-Martinez, are being tried as adults. Preliminary hearings for all three suspects are scheduled for February 4.
