Eleview International Charged with Export Violations

Eleview International Inc., a Virginia-based freight consolidation company, and its executives, Oleg Nayandin and Vitaliy Borisenko, have been charged with illegally exporting millions of dollars' worth of U.S. technology to Russia. The U.S. Department of Justice alleges that from March 2022 to June 2023, the company utilized schemes involving Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Finland to circumvent export restrictions, knowingly sending telecommunications equipment and dual-use products to Russian customers. The defendants face conspiracy charges under the Export Control Reform Act, with potential penalties of up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
