Missing Juvenile Found Hidden in Evansville Motel Ceiling with Wanted Sex Offender

Vanderburgh County deputies in Indiana located a missing juvenile hidden in the ceiling tiles of a motel room at the One Life Hotel after an investigation that began on June 21. The missing teen was found with 26-year-old Christopher Gamble, who was wanted on multiple active felony warrants, including child molestation charges from Spencer County. Gamble initially denied anyone else was present but was found to be harboring the juvenile, leading to his arrest on charges of assisting a criminal, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, parole violation, false informing, and a sex offender registration violation. Both the juvenile and Gamble were taken into custody without incident, and deputies continue to investigate the case with additional charges anticipated. Gamble’s warrants include serious offenses such as multiple counts of rape and child molesting dating back to 2015. The case is ongoing as authorities work to ensure the safety of the juvenile and bring all responsible parties to justice.
